A palm-sized mini diorama of a scene packed into a box.
The denseness condensed into a tiny world of less than 10 cm in size and the nostalgic touch of hand-painted illustrations are appealing.

ROCKET AUTO" (Video Production: Sakatsu Gallery)

Dad died in an accident when I was little.
Then Grandpa Tatsumi took over as my parent.
My grandfather, who was a member of the thunder tribe, was called "Tatsu the Rocket Rider" when he was young, and the "Rocket Auto" that he started is still relied upon by motorcycle riders as a legendary store.
Thanks to the store is full of rocket cowls.
"Grandpa! You have a visitor."
"I can't keep my hands off him, go to the back!"
Grandpa is still very active. He's been able to leave a lot of things to me, but my training will continue.

The silver motorcycle to the left of the storefront is
"BSA Rocket Gold Star."
"BMW R100 Rocket Cowl"
"Yamaha XS Rocket Scrambler"
"Passol."
In-store motorcycles are
"Yamaha SRX Rocket Cowl Orebell Specification"
The motorcycle on the lift is
"Honda RS1000"

What is a "JOUKEIBAKO"?
is a palm-sized mini diorama, a scene packed in a box.
The appeal of this work is the precision with which it is condensed into a tiny world of less than 10 cm in size, and the touch of brush painting that evokes a nostalgic feeling, like a hand-drawn illustration.
It is produced as a series of works with matching case sizes, making it a great collectible or gift!
