There is a small switch on the side of the base of the work. Batteries are two CR2032 button cell batteries on the bottom of the piece.

Albergo a Cinque Stelle" (five-star hotel) in a small village in Abruzzo, on the Adriatic coast in central Italy
. A hotel whose rank is not five stars, but whose name is "five stars", is our accommodation tonight.
The building looks as if it is about to fall down, but the historical atmosphere will help you to relax after a long journey.
This is a palm-sized mini diorama created using paper, string and miniature cars.
The dioramas are made of paper, yarn and miniature cars, with a hand-painted touch that gives them a nostalgic feel, and an intricate detail that is condensed into a tiny world less than 10cm in size.
With a special box, it makes a great gift or collection.
