A huge iron bridge over the valley.
The bridge, stretching through the trees, was still there, after all these years.
As I looked up at the bridge, which cast intricate shadows in the sunshine, I was reminded of the heroic figure I had seen that summer.
This is a workshop specialising in the reproduction of dioramas of the original landscape of Japan up to about the 1930s and early 1940s in Z gauge.
In spite of the miniscule scale of 1/220, except for the dolls and the railway carriages, almost everything is handmade, and with this craftsmanship, the nostalgic Japanese scenes are beautifully reproduced.
