What comes to mind when you hear the name New Orleans?
several JAZZ BARs created in the series around last year
The style was exactly how I imagined the streets of New Orleans.
I've never been there, of course, but I've seen the movie and record jackets.
That's why we created it from our imagination based on what we are familiar with.
Again, I was inspired by a request from one of you.
and built an apartment in a brick building that had been in the process of being built and was in disrepair.
bus stop? Or a man hailing a cab.
recreated a scene of people about to leave their apartments with their belongings.
Shadow of a person through the window of an apartment, an old lady going to take out the garbage
The work is quite dense and dark, including a motorcycle that has been ridden off the road.

This work is one of Taro's "90mm Cube Miniatures series" that fit into a dice-shaped case of 9cm per side. The case eliminates the worry of dust and damage, and the sense of unity when the pieces are lined up makes collecting them a pleasure.
