Information edit: Sakatsu Gallery
A scene from the second episode of Ultra Q, "Goro and Goro", has been made into a palm-sized diorama and vignette by Gentaro Asaki.
Ultra Q is the first in a series of fantasy special effects that aired in 1966 and is still popular 50 years later.
In the second episode of the series, a giant monkey named Goro appears.
Goro is a lonely young man who loves monkeys and helps out at the Wild Monkey Research Institute on the island of Izu Awaji. Goro's favorite monkey, Goro Goro, eats a special walnut kept at the institute and grows to a huge size. Goro steals to prepare food for Goro and is caught. When Goro disappears, Goro comes to town and goes on a rampage. What is the fate of one man and one animal?
A strange world in which a giant ape destroys the everyday life of a town, while retaining a somewhat innocent atmosphere. It is a work that puts the world view of Ultra Q into a small work.
The size of the pedestal is 6cm square, making it a very small piece.
We recommend you collect them in a series and put them side by side!
Besides, Gentlemanro Asaki's work is here!
