Dominique-Jean Larrey (1766-1802) was a French military doctor who lived during the reign of Napoleon.
The first ambulance in human history was a carriage developed by Larrey in 1792 in the midst of the French Revolution to get wounded soldiers to a place where they could be treated as quickly as possible.
In 1796, he invented the spring-loaded carriage to improve the transport of wounded soldiers on the battlefield, and he also made a name for himself with his medical reforms.

The kit is made of white metal (soft metal) and carefully painted with oil paints, making this a historical figure.
This is a small, palm-sized figure, but the weight of the metal combined with the majesty of the figure gives a sense of the weight of history.
