This is a model of a complete painted doll commemorating the 100th anniversary of women's suffrage in Germany.
It consists of a ballot box, five painted dolls and a sheet of paper with a table showing the percentages of each political party on 19 January 1919, the first election day in Germany to be attended by women voters.
After the March Revolution in Germany in 1848, educators and writers began to appeal for women's right to employment and education, and after various activities, women's suffrage in Germany was granted.
