Wood glue is recommended for gluing. The paper of the frame will be slightly yellowed by laser cutting, so painting (please use lacquer paint) or polishing with sandpaper will make it look better.
It can be easily cut with a cutter knife or similar tool. It can be cut at an appropriate span, or the inner frame (vertical grain) can be reduced.
