Scenes from the Taisho and early Showa periods, featuring artistic building work by Hiroshi Yamao.
These are objects of structures that cannot be real, virtual buildings. Created as a work of art using the diorama technique.
This is a version 2 of the object "Dai Ryounkaku “óE½EŽlŠK" completed in 2016, with a similar concept.
The title is taken from the name of the Ryounkaku Asakusa 12th floor, which opened in 1890 and reigned as a symbol in Asakusa, Tokyo until the end of the Taisho era (1912-1926), the same as the first building.
Three switches are placed on the base frame, each of which can be used to switch on the lighting corresponding to the exterior, interior and perimeter of the building.
