"Showa Retro Yokocho 2" (Video Production: Sakatsu Gallery)

This is the second version of 's familiar perspective diorama, Showa Retro Yokocho.

How many drinking establishments have you ever built?
However, the joy of getting absorbed in the world of dioramas while building them is incomparable.
I feel the drama in each and every bar.

Again, the figures are arranged for a scene that might be found in a bar.
Some dog is in the middle of marking with its hind legs up
Profile of a woman carrying a baby who came to pick up her father, a drunkard

I'm pretty sure that's the scenery I saw back then.
The perspective dioramas, which require more than twice as much effort and patience as the regular dioramas, are now more than 10 works.

13 LEDs light up

This work is one of Taro's "90mm Cube Miniatures series" that fit into a dice-shaped case of 9cm per side. The case eliminates the worry of dust and damage, and the sense of unity when the pieces are lined up makes collecting them a pleasure.
