It is difficult to see in the picture, but as you enter the front door there is a staircase leading up to a mezzanine floor, and at the back of the shop is the sooty chimney of the stove.
This piece is one of Taro's series of "90mm Cube Miniatures", which fit into a dice-shaped case of 9cm per side. With the case, there is no need to worry about dust or damage, and the miniatures are a pleasure to collect as they look uniform when arranged.
