Note: Using "World Craft HO Narrow (1/87 6.5mm) Electric Locomotive Assembly Kit for Ashio Copper Mine".
Note The motor is included, but its running performance is not stable, so please enjoy it as a scenic accessory.
Acrylic case included.
Information edit: Sakatsu Gallery
This is a scene work of an electric locomotive for a tunnel going through a mine.
The electric locomotive is soldered from a kit made by World Craft, which was released for the 2011 Model Railroad Market event. The prototype is said to be the one used in the Ashio copper mine.
It has a motor, but unfortunately the running performance is not so good ("It's not the kit's fault", says Yamashita), so please enjoy it as an accessory part.
The ground is covered with a three-rail track (also known as a three-rail track). This is the first time we have seen such a structure in a museum.
This is a work that packs a lot of mine character into a small scene, but in this case, Yamashita's style is to leave out most of the weathering so as not to make it too dark.
It has a fantastical and fun atmosphere, somewhat like a cartoon.
In fact, as the title suggests, this work is a "study", and we may see the equivalent of a "full work" in the future!
If you are going to collect Yamashita's works, this could be a rare piece!
