This film captures the streets of Sydney at the turn of the nineteenth and twentieth centuries, when steam-powered trams ran through the city.

A truck is stranded when its load of wood collapses. Some people complain, others hear the commotion and come to the rescue. This is a condensed version of a diverse human story.
Don't miss the delicate expressions such as the balcony railings made of Nishimura's original etched parts!
