The contest event "Model Railroad Module LAYOUT AWARD 2017", the first edition of this competition, was made as an image work, so to speak.
It conforms to the T-TRAK standard (alternate standard) linear module with a double line spacing of 33 mm, so it can be connected to other T-TRAK modules.

The work is called "Kyoto style" because it is a scene that could be found in Kyoto. It is a perfect match between the joyful and unusual life of a tourist destination and the everyday life of a railway.
The bold slope emphasizes the depth and three-dimensionality of the whole work. The roofs of the shops on either side of the slope are stair-stepped and rhythmical. On the other hand, the weathering paint around the tracks and the cars waiting for the crossing give a sense of reality.
This is an example of how to create an attractive work of art within the constraints of the overall size and position of the tracks.

Note:The colour tones in the photos may vary from the actual product depending on the model and settings of your monitor.
