This is a scene work in which the body of a covered freight car is made into a Dharma.
The car body is damaged by the rain.... The work is like an illustration of a melancholy space, a moment captured. This is a difficult theme, because if it were just dirty or messy, it would really look like rubbish, but in fact, the calculated arrangement and paintwork make it a scene of elegance.
The base of the Dharma part is a Nakamura Seimitsu plastic kit that was once available on the market, but thanks to the weathering, you can feel the texture and weight of the metal.
This is a great example of the kind of work that can be done in a small space. You can enjoy this as a stand-alone scene, or you can transplant the whole scene by cutting out the base board.
