This is a collection of photographs of non-operational narrow-gauge railways that are hidden from the public in many countries around the world.
Nine railways from Europe and Asia are featured, including an island track in the North Frisian Islands that crosses the North Sea, a marble haulage track in northern Italy, and a Rhine improvement track that straddles Switzerland and Austria.
The book also includes a comprehensive guide to the narrow gauge railways.
