A new model of the petrol measuring car, based on the one used and installed in the Kiso Forest Railway, has been made by "Kobo Nanarokuni".
The pump has been further detailed from the previous model, from the flange that connects it to the tank, to the bolts and nuts that hold it in place, to the valves and drum of the hand-operated pump, all of which have been brass-soldered.
As with the previous model, the tank is machined from ABS.
The tank is fixed to the bogie with screws from the back, and can be removed and replaced with another bogie.
It comes with a wooden base to set it down out of the way and a ladder to climb on top of the tank.
The realistic weathering on each part of the tank shows the years it has been in operation.
This model can be used as a trailer for DLs, or as a petrol weighing machine when mounted on a pedestal.
Either way, it's a great addition to any forest railway scene!
