When the cold wind blows through the city, you will miss baked potatoes.
The trees have lost all their leaves and only have branches, which makes it feel even colder. The only green left is the sasanqua, a shrub on one of the houses. The leaves are blowing around the poles.

Yaki-imo (roasted sweet potato) shops are one of Japan's most popular winter traditions, with their stalls and light trucks loaded with special kettles. When they sell, they call out in their own unique way: "Ishiyaa kiimo, oimo".

These days, you can find them in supermarkets and convenience stores, but until a long time ago, baked potatoes were a very rare and difficult thing to find, because you would hear that distinctive voice coming out of nowhere, and while you were holding your wallet and wondering if you should buy one, you didn't know where it had gone.

The stall I used for the scenery is an Echo Model kit, assembled and weathered.
