"MINI JOB" : JOUKEIBAKO - Painted and finished - 1:72
YouTube "Mini-Job" (video production: Sakatsu Gallery)
A short walk along the cobblestones from the old train station leads to a street lined with small stores.
The late evening sky is a soft orange with sparse clouds mixed in.
The streetlights on street have begun to light up, illuminating our feet with a faint warm glow.
Shortly after I graduated from school, two of my best friends left the city.
one by train, one by motorcycle, chasing a dream of seeing the wider world.
Since then, the street has been somewhat lonely, with boxes piled up in the back of the store trapping memories of those days.
I took over the "Junshocha" and stayed on to keep the old lamp burning in the store at night so that the two of us can come back anytime.
The menu is gone now, but I wanted to give you a chance to enjoy good coffee and the saga of running around in this thing.
The film will be a self-homage and parody of "Our Secret Base Italian Job" produced in 2014.
It is about half the size of an Italian job and the size of the palm of your hand.
