Joren no Taki Waterfall (Video Production: Sakatsu Gallery)
This is a diorama of Joren-no-taki Falls, one of the 100 best waterfalls in Japan, located in the center of the Izu Peninsula.
25-meter drop. The work depicts the power of the direct fall from the mouth of the waterfall all the way down to the basin.
The deep blue azure waterfall basin beneath the powerful waterfall is represented in color. The columnar joints like bird feathers floating on the rocks near the waterfall are also realistically reproduced, glowing dully when wet from the spray of water.
Grass and trees growing on the rocks and a small dripping stream on the left also accentuate the scene effectively and add to the mysterious waterfall scene.
