This plate (transparent acrylic sheet) is a faithful scaled-down version of the vehicle and building limits set for the Japanese National Railways.
This plate is used as an indicator for the placement of buildings and accessories in the construction of vehicles and dioramas. The gauge of the rails is 12mm (1067mm), which is the most common gauge for models.
It is not intended to limit or dictate the size of the model.
The part of the overhead train line can be removed.
