Tenryu Futamata Station, Operation Office (video taken by Sakatsu Gallery)

The prototype is the driving office at Tenryu Futamata Station (Tenryu Futamata-eki).
Tenryu-Futamata Station seems to belong to the former Japan National Railways' Futamata Line (now Tenryu-Hamanako Line of Tenryu Hamanako Railway), but in the 1930s and 1940s, Enshu Railway ran to this station, and the title of this work was chosen because it seems to be an imaginative and unlikely work of the half of the imagination that evokes the conditions of that era.
Although the work prioritizes image, its presence and persuasive power are as you can see. The most impressive feature is the number of sliding windows, both inside and outside, which are expressed without any breakdown. The different grains on each of the wooden panels on the walls are a unique expression of Okakura, who combines thin pieces of wood just like in a real building. The entire building has been painted with an exquisite weathering paint that gives it a weighty and nostalgic atmosphere.
Furthermore, this delicate structure has exceptional craftsmanship, with most of the sliding doors movable and the roof removable.
Display by itself, add interior decorations and lights, or incorporate it into your layout.
