This is the third volume in the popular Steam on 2ft. Lines series, a series of photographic books introducing light railways of 2ft. gauge, focusing on the railways that operated in Brazil until 1983.
E½@It is worth noting that the "Pels Railway", with a length of just over 20 kilometres, had a fleet of more than 20 SLs, with American locomotives dating from the 19th century remaining in service until the end of their lives.
However, there are no comprehensive records for fans in Brazil or any other country.
This time, a photo story has been created using a selection of over a thousand images from three visits to the 'Kemuri-Pro' in the 1970s, bringing back to life the fascinating images.
The book also includes detailed drawings and old photographs, thanks to the help of people involved in conservation work in Brazil.
