"Lisbon Tram Street Corner Diorama B" (Video produced by Sakatsu Gallery)
In Lisbon, the capital of Portugal, vintage trams run along narrow cobblestone streets, skimming past building facades and sidewalks, making tram tours a popular tourist attraction.
I created a small circular diorama featuring the scenery through which this tram runs.
This all-in-one diorama features a PWM controller, LED board, and 9V battery built into the interior of a circular diorama base created using an FDM 3D printer. The 9V battery is housed in a pull-out compartment within the diorama base, making it easy to replace.
The built-in PWM controller allows the included Lisbon Tram to run smoothly at low speeds.
LED lighting (for streetlights and indoor areas) is also included, so you can enjoy the night views.
The Lisbon-style building in the center, the mailbox, the tuk-tuk, the scooter, the cat, the trash can, and other items are original pieces created and painted using a stereolithography 3D printer.
The cobblestones and sidewalks, which are key elements of the tram diorama, were printed using an FDM 3D printer.
The six figures are permanently glued to the diorama.
