Taro has created over 100 palm-sized works of art, lit up with LEDs.
A small story in a small work of art. Enjoy them in a world of images.
I wanted to create a scene using a 9mm gauge track (think HO narrow) that had been lying dormant for a long time, so I decided to capture it in 90mm.
The railway line is above the guard, and by the guard there is a pub where the roof is being repaired.
There's a sign that says "open for business", so they're doing it!
There is a carpenter's workshop in the open space on the right, with a kettle on the floor.
The day's work is finished, and a lumber truck is behind the guard.
This piece is one of Taro's series of "90mm Cube Miniatures", which fit into a dice-shaped case of 9cm per side. With the case, there is no need to worry about dust or damage, and the miniatures are a pleasure to collect as they look uniform when arranged.
Also available as a gift.
We also have Taro's work for you to look at.
