Sanriku Tetsudo Rias Line" (Video produced by Sakatsu Gallery)

The work of Yoshiaki Ishikawa, popular for his dioramas of kawaii trains running through a fantastical world.
The sparkling sea, the rias coast with its sheer cliffs, and the people who live there. The railroad that connects them.
This is a very small layout inspired by the Sanriku Railway Rias Line, which was severely damaged by the Great East Japan Earthquake, but was fully restored in 2019.

The cars have a built-in motor and run on a rail feed.
You can load dry cell batteries into the work and enjoy driving anywhere by itself, or connect the AC adapter to a household outlet for long hours of continuous driving.
The acrylic case is included, so there is no need to worry about dust, making it ideal for interior decoration.
The houses throughout are pre-decorated with LEDs, which can be switched on and off with a switch on the back of the piece.

Note: We recommend the use of the special vehicles provided to run the rails on the work.
Note: Due to the handmade nature of this work, details may vary.
