My First Encounter with Model Railroading 2" (Video Production: Sakatsu Gallery)

The work of Yoshiaki Ishikawa, popular for his dioramas of kawaii trains running through a fantastical world.
This work is based on and improved from a Hamamatsu Diorama Grand Prix exhibit in 2019. It is a 1/12 scale, dollhouse size work, which is rare for Ishikawa.

In the 1950s, model railroad manufacturers sold three-line O-gauge model trains.
Some of the cars were deformed and made of brass or tinplate so that children could handle them, but as toys, they were quite expensive. It seems that they were the object of boys' admiration.
This work reproduces such memories of those days with priority given to the image. The cars running in the ultra-compact layout were specially made by Mr. Ishikawa, and the dolls were also made by him with a retro touch, as if they appeared on the cover of a children's book or picture book of the time.
It comes with a clear acrylic case exclusively for for beautiful storage and viewing.

Note: Due to the handmade nature of this work, details may vary.
