The water tower with a conical roof water tank on a turret assembled with rails has been modeled in 1/87 scale by "Kobo Nanarokuni".
There is no specific prototype, but it would be suitable for small to medium sized steam locomotives running on branch lines, or in combination with C11s and C56s.
Even though this is a full scratch-built model, the sculpting is much cleaner and more accurate than the kit. The weathering paintwork is not too overbearing.
The finished product is a work of art that will impress even the most casual observer.
