The combination of a high legged jib crane and a single line coal tank (new type single line coal tank) can be said to be specialized for medium sized machines, and if you have a one armed sand feeding tower (independent one line tank type sand feeding tower), ash pit and water supply port, you will have everything you need. I'm sure you'll agree.
The tall legs crossed one line, which was used for uncovered wagons loaded with coal. The coal from these wagons was then loaded into the coal yard, where it was fed into the coal tank as required. This has the advantage that the crane, coal yard and coal tank are not far apart, saving space.
For the wire I used the very fine steel wire used in ship and tank models. It is twisted just like the real thing, so I used it for appearance.
The single track coal tank is an interesting and space-saving solution as it straddles a single track and the steam locomotive enters the track to feed the coal.
We also have some other works by Takumi Diorama Craft House, please have a look.
