About the building: This is essentially a one-of-a-kind, full-scratch-built model made by shaping and painting plastic sheets.
(It is not a modified version of a commercially available manufacturer's model kit or diorama.)
About the Lighting: Pre-installed LED lighting. Two AA batteries are installed on the back of the unit, so you can turn on the lights while the cover is still in place.

The streets of Kyoto have also begun to change from a light green to a deep green.
The season transitions from spring to summer as the Gion Festival takes over from the "Spring Dances" held in Kyoto's representative hanamachi districts (Gion Kobu, Miyagawa-cho, Ponto-cho, and Kamishichiken).
We hope you'll enjoy the "laid-back" atmosphere as a maiko, on her way to a private room in the Tatsumi Bridge area where twilight is falling over the Shirakawa River, takes a moment to relax on the bridge with her close friend, an geisha she calls "onee-san."
