Teishokuya Stand" (Video Production: Sakatsu Gallery)
There is a teishoku-ya that has been in business for over 50 years in the town where I was born and raised.
I visited just the other day.
perhaps for the first time in 40 years?
The building has been renovated and is no longer in use, but the sister from that time is still working there.
I was glad to see that you remembered me, even though your back was bent.
I'm making the diorama from an image.
creates an atmosphere that draws you back to that time.
My order is "Katsu Katsu Curry".
Whenever I come across a retro teishoku-ya, I always taste the "Katsu Curry" (pork cutlet curry).
Shio Daifuku Mizuno in Sugamo will also give you cutlet curry that almost overflows from the plate.
They also have a delicious "ham and eggs set meal" and "omelette rice" here at the stand.
5 LED lights up
This work is one of Taro's "90mm Cube Miniatures series" that fit into a dice-shaped case of 9cm per side. The case eliminates the worry of dust and damage, and the sense of unity when the pieces are lined up makes collecting them or for gifts.
