Taro has created over 100 palm-sized works of art lit up with LEDs.
A little story in a little work. Enjoy them in a world of images.
A gallery in a renovated farmhouse on the edge of town.
The owner is Maggie (Margaret), the only daughter of Linda the grocer.
Maggie is a lovely woman whom Thomas, the garage owner, is secretly in love with.
The Motown series of dioramas is set in the town where these people live.
The stained glass window next to the entrance is illuminated by five white LEDs, which illuminate the works inside the gallery, and five bulbous LEDs, which illuminate the interior.
This work is one of Taro's series of "Motown series", in which scenes are connected by streets. Side by side, streets and cityscapes can be freely combined. If you place them facing each other, you can create a boulevard.
Collect them, line them up, and enjoy!
We also have Taro's work for you to look at.
