The work of Yoshiaki Ishikawa, popular for his dioramas of kawaii trains running through fantastic worlds.
This is an unusual ultra-compact railway diorama powered by a turntable (rotating display stand).

Through the tunnel is a small station. On top of the mountain there is a small lake, which becomes a waterfall and flows down. The train crosses a red truss bridge and the campsite comes into view. There is a family having a barbecue.
The train starts to move when you turn on the switch behind the base.
To change the direction of the train, hold the train for a few seconds and release it to run in the opposite direction. Two AA batteries in the base provide over a week of continuous operation.
It comes with a square acrylic case, which makes it ideal for interior decoration without the worry of dust.
Due to the handmade nature of this piece, details may vary.
