An unmanned station, floating in a field of snow, white and still.

A red diesel train approaches, and time begins to move.
A fox pokes its head out of the kuma-zasa and listens to the sound of diesel.
People are gathering at the station and we will be arriving soon.

This is a snowfield scene that could be found in Tohoku or Hokkaido. The fictional station is marked with the name "Kita-Fukushima".
The combination of the red Kiha 40 against the white snowfield in this bold composition is typical of Nishimura's style as an illustrator.
