Phosphor Bronze Round Wire 0.2mm : Sakatsu Material Non-scale 4600
Made by Sakatsu Material Non-scale
Straight and easy to use wire. Length 24-25cm. 5pcs
Information edit: Sakatsu Gallery
This is a very fine phosphor bronze (/) wire with a diameter of 0.2mm.
This wire is processed into a straight line, which is difficult to obtain in general because it is too fine and is easily lost when straightening. It is not only suitable for model railways, but also for detailed work such as the representation of hydraulic pipes due to its copper colour.
What is phosphor bronze? It is an alloy of copper and tin. Phosphor bronze has high strength as a material for models, and its springiness gives a sharp finish which is difficult to obtain with ordinary copper wire or brass. It has the advantage that the copper colour of the surface of the material can be used.
